College Planning Series

I'm giving a series of free, open to the public talks about the college selection, application and financial aid process at the main branch of the Portland Public Library.

The first talk is Monday, November 16th at 5:30 PM, and will be on the topic of researching and selecting colleges.

During this talk I'll recommend web sites, books and other resources students and families can use. We'll discuss college visits and how to learn about what makes a college different from (and similar to) other schools. I'll present a process by which a motivated student can come up with a realistic and reasonable "short list" of schools to apply to by the late fall of senior year.

High school aged students and parents of same are encouraged to attend.

Event Date:

Monday, November 16, 2015 - 17:30 to 19:00
